Introducing Kids to Firearms and Hunting

The future of hunting and the shooting sports rests in the hands of our youth. If we do our part to inspire young children with the values and traditions we hold close to our hearts, they will in turn become the devoted hunters and responsible firearms owners who will carry on our heritage for generations to follow. We need to teach them how to interact with the woods and waters and wildlife all around them. Involve them so they understand and respect the land. Study and appreciate wildlife, their biology and how they are connected to the environment. When you introduce kids to hunting and firearms, you are not only passing on family traditions and teaching life lessons, but also exercising their fundamental 2nd Amendment right of gun ownership.
