Cost covers classroom instruction + shooting proficiency qualification on the range.

• Class requirements = 4 hours of instruction and a written exam;
• Shooting proficiency qualification:

50 shots

20 shots at 3 yards,

20 shots at 7 yards, and

10 shots at 15 yards.

Must score at least 70% (175/250) to qualify.

*bring your firearm (either semi-auto or revolver); no minimum caliber required.

* * no optical enhancers can be used during the qualification (no lasers, red dots, holographic sights, scopes, etc.)

This LTC course will cover:

1 ‐ Laws that relate to weapons and to the use of deadly force

2 ‐ Handgun use and safety, including use of restraint holsters and methods to ensure the secure carrying of openly carried handguns

3 – Non‐violent dispute resolution

4 ‐ Proper storage practices for handguns with an emphasis on storage practices that eliminate the possibility of accidental injury to a child
