Little Lone Star Instructor Combo: NRA PPITH & PPOTH

For those who want to continue with their Firearms Training and take it to the next level, this combo course is for you!  This multi-day Little Lone Star combo course includes everything you need to be an NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home (PPITH), and Personal Protection Outside the Home (PPOTH) Instructor!

** Pre-requisites:  MUST have already taken the NRA Basic/Instructor Pistol certification, MUST have already taken the NRA Basic/Instructor CCW (Conceal Carry Workshop) certification, and BIT must be current within 2 years.

** For current NRA Instructors adding another Instructor rating, you may be required to attend another BIT Course if you have not completed that course within the previous 2 years – let me know…

Possession of basic firearm safety and shooting skills is also a prerequisite for enrolling in this course.

NOTE: Anyone interested in taking the NRA PPITH and PPOTH courses must: be at least 21 years old, be legally allowed to possess and/or own a firearm, be a US Citizen and/or be Legal Resident residing in the United States. NO EXCEPTIONS As per the U.S. Department of State (ITAR-International Traffic in Arms Regulations). 

This course teaches the basics of how to draw from concealment and engage a target.

This course will cover: Firearm safety, selecting a pistol and ammo for self-defense, basic defensive pistol skills, drawing from concealment and engaging targets through a variety of drills on the range.

Then, we will build upon these skills and progress through the next levels…

Learn the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense inside and outside the home.

Must bring to this class:

• Pistol appropriate for concealed carry – recommend minimum of 9mm or .38 Special
• Quality Strong Side OWB Hip Holster – recommend form fitted leather or kydex, must cover trigger + trigger guard
• Quality Belt, designed to carry a holster and a firearm
• at least 1,200 rounds of factory ammunition (no reloads) – approximately 200 rounds of ammunition for each of the 6 courses (Basic/Instructor CCW, PPITH and PPOTH).
• Spare magazines or speed loaders with appropriate pouches – at least two additional (3 total)
• Clothing appropriate for concealed carry
• Eye protection
• Hearing protection – recommend electronic muffs

Cancellation Policy: Students who cancel their reservation less than 7 days before the class, or “no-show” without notifying Instructors, will not be refunded.
