This course has a Pre-Requisite **BEFORE** you can enroll in this course:ย 

  • MUST have already taken and passed the NRA Basic Pistol Course โ€“ (in-person/instructor-led) + NRA Pistol Instructor Course
  • MUST have already taken and passed the NRA Basic CCW Course
  • BIT must be current within 2 yearsย 

This course is a Pre-Requisite **BEFORE** you can enroll in the NRA Basics and Instructor Personal Protection Inside the Home, and Personal Protection Outside of the Home Courses.

NOTE: Anyone interested in taking the NRA CCW basic and instructor course must: be at least 21 years old, be legally allowed to possess and/or own a firearm, be a US Citizen and/or be Legal Resident residing in the United States. NO EXCEPTIONS As per the U.S. Department of State (ITAR-International Traffic in Arms Regulations).ย 

This class does not include the Texas LTC and is not a โ€œlicense to carryโ€ or โ€œconceal carryโ€ certification course โ€“ rather in the NRA CCW (Conceal Carry Workshop) Instructor course, participants will learn the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching NRAโ€™s Basic CCW course, how to safely carry a concealed pistol for personal defense, and how to draw from concealment and engage a target.
