  • Over 30 years coordinating large-scale outdoor education events, workshops, festivals, and outreach programs across Texas
  • Designed and maintained event promotions and social media advertising campaigns
  • Full event lifecycle management: budgeting, contract negotiation, vendor relations, and sponsorship development
  • Recruited, trained, and managed teams of 50+ staff and volunteers per large event
  • Coordinated 31 statewide Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) workshops (2010–2025), reaching maximum capacity of over 200 attendees each event, introducing over 7000 women to hands-on outdoor experiences
  • Founded and directed the annual Take Me Outdoors Houston festival at Discovery Green in Downtown Houston (2009-2025), reaching thousands of families each year with hands-on outdoor activities
  • Organized Hunter Education Instructor conferences, mentored hunts for adults, women and youth, National Archery in the Schools programs, Student Air Rifle programs, and specialized safety training (including offshore presentations for Gulf of America oil platforms and firearm safety during Houston Rodeo)
  • Coordinated and hosted the 5-day International Hunter Education Association (IHEA-USA) annual conference in San Antonio, TX – with over 500 attendees from across the US and several other countries.
