What to Bring to the Range
- Firearm: A serviceable semi-automatic pistol or revolver (minimum 9mm or .38 caliber; clean and in safe working order).
- Ammunition: At least 50 rounds of new, brass-cased factory ammunition (no reloads). Bringing 100 rounds is often recommended if you want extra practice. If doing a shotgun qualification, bring 9 rounds of 00 buckshot.
- Holster & Belt: An outside-the-waistband (OWB) strong-side holster or duty holster with a sturdy gun belt.
- Magazines: At least 2 empty magazines (or speed loaders for a revolver), ideally with a 10-round capacity minimum.
- Safety Gear: Eye and ear protection; close-toed shoes; hat.
- Documentation: Your printed online/classroom course completion certificate (such as form PSP-30 or PSP-31) and a valid government-issued photo ID.
NOTE: All Private Security classes and range qualifications will be offered during the week.
*WOMEN ONLY: If I am pregnant or suspect that I might be pregnant, I have discussed participating in firearm shooting activities with my doctor and have received clearance from my doctor to ensure the safety and wellbeing of my unborn child.
