NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home – Jan 4, 2025

Prerequisite: MUST have an NRA Basic Pistol Certification (INSTRUCTOR LED course) AND completed the NRA CCW course, AND completed the NRA Personal Protection In the Home course.

Without these certifications first, you cannot attend the workshop. 

Possession of basic firearm safety and shooting skills is also a prerequisite for enrolling in this course.

NOTE: Anyone interested in taking the NRA PPITH basic course must: be at least 21 years old, be legally allowed to possess and/or own a firearm, be a US Citizen and/or be Legal Resident residing in the United States. NO EXCEPTIONS As per the U.S. Department of State (ITAR-International Traffic in Arms Regulations). 

Learn the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home.

Must bring to this class:

• Pistol appropriate for concealed carry – recommend minimum of 9mm or .38 Special
• Quality Strong Side OWB Hip Holster – recommend form fitted leather or kydex, must cover trigger + trigger guard
• Quality Belt, designed to carry a holster and a firearm
• 200 rounds of factory ammunition (no reloads)
• Spare magazines or speed loaders with appropriate pouches – at least two additional (3 total)
• Clothing appropriate for concealed carry
• Eye protection
• Hearing protection – recommend electronic muffs

Cancellation Policy: Students who cancel their reservation less than 7 days before the class, or “no-show” without notifying Instructors, will not be refunded and will be credited towards a future class (within 6 months, depending on upcoming course schedule, and on a case-by-case scenario).
