NRA CCW (Conceal Carry Workshop)
This class is not the Texas License to Carry (LTC) or "conceal carry" certification course - rather, this NRA CCW (Conceal Carry Workshop) course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for personal defense, and the basics of how to draw from concealment and engage a target.
This course has a Pre-Requisite *BEFORE* you can enroll:
*MUST have already taken and passed the NRA Basic Pistol Course for the NRA Basic CCW Course; *
- MUST have already taken and passed the NRA Pistol Instructor Course for the NRA CCW Instructor Course.
The Basic CCW Course is a Pre-Requisite *BEFORE* you can enroll in the:
NRA Basics of Personal Protection Inside the Home Course
The CCW Instructor Course is a Pre-Requisite *BEFORE* you can enroll in the:
NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home Instructor Course
Possession of basic firearm safety and shooting skills is also a prerequisite for certification as an NRA CCW Instructor.
NOTE: Anyone interested in taking the NRA CCW basic course must: be at least 21 years old, be legally allowed to possess and/or own a firearm, be a US Citizen and/or be Legal Resident residing in the United States. NO EXCEPTIONS As per the U.S. Department of State (ITAR-International Traffic in Arms Regulations).

The NRA CCW Course exposes students to several schools of thought regarding defensive shooting techniques and is geared toward anyone wanting to improve their shooting skills. Too many graduates of the NRA Basic Pistol course go home, put their pistol in the nightstand, and leave it there indefinitely. Students will be encouraged to train and practice and challenged to continue developing skills by getting involved in shooting activities, joining a gun club, participating in the NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program, and/or shooting in competitions.
This course will cover: Firearm safety, selecting a pistol and ammo for self-defense, basic defensive pistol skills, drawing from concealment and engaging targets through a variety of drills on the range.
Per NRA, we need min. of 4 students for a class.
Cancellation Policy: Students who cancel their reservation less than 7 days before the class, or “no-show” without notifying Instructors, will not be refunded.
