Description

Level II certification is an entry-level certification intended for individuals seeking to begin their careers in private security.  This license is often required for unarmed security officers who perform essential protective services in businesses, residential complexes, and public venues.  It ensures that licensed individuals have undergone standardized training and are knowledgeable about the basics of security services, ethics, and legal compliance. Unarmed security officers are non-commissioned.

You must be a registered employee of a state-licensed security company to work as a security officer in the state of Texas.

Upon successful completion of the training, a pocket card including name, photo, signature, date of issue and date of expiration will be issued and must keep on the security officer while on duty.
